who are we:
A civil institution founded by the sons and family of (Abdul Karim Mahmoud Hamed Al-Khatib) is a Saudi journalist, writer and historian from the city of Yanbu, one of the founders of media in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia He received the Leadership in Culture Award from the Saudi Society for Culture and Arts, honored by the Ministry of Higher Education as a pioneer of authorship in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia In honor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may God have mercy on him, the Ministry of Culture and Information honored him as a pioneer of history in the Kingdom, he received the King Salman bin Abdulaziz Award for Creativity in the Arabian Peninsula research through the King Abdulaziz House, he received the award for the best program producer from the Ministry of Information by Royal Decree No. 10104 dated 5/5/1391 AH, he received from the United Nations the Food and Agriculture Organization the award for the best agricultural program in the East.
A member of the Union of Arab Historians, honored by several literary clubs in the Kingdom in the field of literature has more than fifty books and publications between history, literature, novel, poetry and works in Islamic biography, left several research and literary works have not been printed and will be reviewed and audited for printing in addition to a library full of valuable books and literary and historical documents and is considered one of the assets of the cultural institution.

Abdul Karim bin Mahmoud Al Khatib
Saudi writer, historian, and media personality
He was born in the city of "Yanbu" at the beginning of the month of Rajab in 1352 AH, and his childhood was between the family store in Yanbu Al-Bahr and his family's farms in the village of Al-Baraka in Yanbu Al-Nakhl, he lived in the custody of his father, Sheikh of the Senussi corners in the north and the city, Mahmoud bin Hamid Al-Khatib, as he lived in the house of his father's uncle, Sheikh Mustafa bin Muhammad Al-Khatib, based on the shrine of Yanbu and learned by him the ABCs of the English language.
